Crash Without Liftoff

FAILED
I'm a failure and it's okay.
I'll save this project for another year, when I am more dedicated and motivated.

For now, check out my simpler project that's more in my range of "doability"

Day 4:

Take a five minute walk, then make something using whatever materials are available where you've ended up. Leave it there for someone else to discover.

Day 3:

Make something out of paper, but don't use scissors or glue or draw on it.

Day 2: Shadow Bird

Sunday, January 2, 2011

What's your favorite animal? Use it as your inspiration today.

So um... day number two and I already fucked up. I have been couch surfing at my friends' places and my phone (my only camera I had on me) was dead when I woke up this morning. I did, however, create a temporary piece today with the help of my dear friend, Casey. I made a shadow bird flying amongst a metal world. Although, any kind of bird that flies is not on my list of favourite animals (I think my favourite bird would have to be an ostrich), it was inspired by the thought of animals.

I will recreate it when I get the chance and place the picture here in the future.

My apologies for my lack of preparation and addiction to being away from home.

Day 1: Snow Bunny

Make something that fits in the palm of your hand using only the materials in your immediate environment.

For New Years Eve, I went to San Francisco to see the Dresden Dolls and Pomplamoose. Then as I got home at 4am New Years Day, I notice that the streets are completely white. Snow in the flatlands of California?! HELL YES!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
